Highlights
This tour starts early for a reason. Tsukiji gets hectic fast, and this isn’t a rushed, tick-the-box experience. We move through around 10 different food spots at a relaxed pace, which takes time if you want to do it properly. Starting at 7:30am lets us beat the crowds, move comfortably through the market, and get the full experience instead of getting caught up in the chaos.
Come hungry, you’ll leave not just full, but deeply satisfied after an incredible food experience. Think hot, fluffy tamagoyaki, melt-in-your-mouth tuna and rich otoro, fresh seafood straight from the market, and a mix of Japanese sweets and seasonal treats!
Along the way, we’ll duck into nearby temples and shrines for a quick change of pace. More than anything, this tour is about bringing people together, foodies, travellers, and curious minds connecting over some of the best seafood Tokyo has to offer.

Tour Itinerary
1. Tamagoyaki Stand
We’ll kick things off with freshly made tamagoyaki, hot, fluffy, and slightly sweet. It’s the perfect introduction to Tsukiji’s street food culture.
2. Inari Sushi
Next, we’ll try inari sushi, a simple but classic bite of sushi rice wrapped in sweet seasoned tofu. A local favourite that balances flavour and texture.
3. Tuna & Otoro Sashimi Stop
We’ll dive straight into Tsukiji’s specialty with melt-in-your-mouth tuna and rich, buttery otoro sashimi. This is what the market is famous for.
4. Grilled Scallops & Fresh Oysters
From there, we’ll enjoy freshly grilled scallops in a savoury butter sauce and oysters so big they fill the palm of your hand.
5. Seasonal Fruit Break
We’ll take a short break with juicy seasonal fruits, a refreshing palate cleanser before the next round of food!
6. Local Temple Visit
We’ll step away from the market for a moment to visit a nearby temple, offering a quiet contrast and a glimpse into the spiritual side of the area.
7. Eel & Tuna Nigiri Sit-Down
We’ll sit down for a more relaxed stop, enjoying perfectly grilled eel glazed in a rich, smoky-sweet tare sauce, along with a second round of tuna and otoro - this time served the traditional way in nigiri form!
8. Ice Cream Stop
We’ll finish the tasting with a fun and refreshing ice cream, a perfect way to cool down after the market.
9. Honganji Temple Finish
We’ll wrap up at Tsukiji Honganji, a unique and striking temple that blends traditional Buddhist elements with Indian-inspired architectural design. A calm and memorable way to end the tour, with a couple of Japanese sweet treats to take home, daifuku of your choice!

Every stop on this tour has been tested for quality, value for money, and taste. We avoid overpriced tourist traps and focus on the best bites in the market, the ones locals actually go back to.
Note: Food stops may vary slightly depending on the day, season, weather, and stall availability.
This isn’t a random walk through Tsukiji.
